At times, I am kinda thankful for all the politics of religion, caste, nationalism, and all that.
Why?
If people started thinking about the things that actually matter, they would realize just how much they are being shortchanged under the guise of worthless pride, accords, or imaginary threats. There would be riots out there!
An outcome of this organized loot is widening wealth gap, which in turn has led to dropping population growth, slowing consumption, and manufacturing. This has already impacted inter-generational development and well-being.
Add to this the AI hungama. It is not paranoia, but the history of industrialization and corporate governance that tells us that the moment AI surpasses human competence at most levels… Well, I would not want to be around for that!
This is true globally! It is only the decision-making jobs that would remain with humans, and how many decision makers do we personally know? Curious how misfortunes, more than fortunes, unite the world!
Yes, there will be regulations. But then, given how company boards operate as well as the corporate’s ongoing struggle with Gen Zs, regulations and policies will be vastly redefined to serve the bottomline in an AI economy!
Still, it is hilarious to witness the payroll experts’ surprise when assessing the rising temperature of the dumpster fire we are in.
